Seaside sewing started

This is a piece I've been wanting to get to for ages, some hand quilting and embroidery planned.

I did do some very boring seam neatening that means I can get on with finishing another summer dress.

Rug delivered

and even more importantly I remembered to take a finished picture of it.

Its new owners were pleased with their belated Easter gift (I made it mainly over Easter)

Peg loom weaving, shirt front chopping, 11 1/4 square making, hand swirly quilting #phew #sewing

Baby bunting

Simple personalised for a baby gift. Her big sister had a blankie with her name it so wanted to do something a bit different. No idea what decor her room has but it'll blend in or contrast!

Pattern weights & yarn

Today's sewing finishes are my cord weights and the t shirt yarn all ready for weaving. I need to thread up the loom and get going. Not sure which pattern I'll next be cutting out but the weights will be useful for cutting slippy quilting fabric too.

On the lap today

Its way past lap size now so I'm flattening off the edges with folded hexies. Its a very unweildy size now and I have lots of other lap pieces to get on with. I have an idea what I'm going to use it for.
