I've been doing some graphics

using the freeware program "gimp", its no adobe photoshop but the principles are the same if not more laborious.

The first is a comic book version of a recent family pic -

The second is a Che Guevara version of my middle daughters boyfriend

Quick make for a photographer friend

.. she got a new tripod for her birthday but nothing to carry it in.

I had the leftovers of a waterproof coat from my bag make so viola

a padded carry case with accessory pocket.

A pretty simple make when you have a coat sleeve to play with. It had a collar added to put an elastic bungee and grip in to keep the weather out. The handle was off a broken rucksack that had long since gone in the bin but I've been saving fittings for just such an ocassion.

Dedication present

Its our friends little boy's dedication in the morning and as he has an unusual name I decided to make him a pressie

Its free motion quilted around the engine and the name is hand stitched on with cream wool. Hope he likes it!
