Another cover

The little grill was looking neglected now the mixer has a cover so my scrap Dresden has a home. Its lined with some old yellow fabric that is pretty Slippy so goes over easy.

Cover finished

Bake cover for my mixer is finished. It has a little pocket for the flex as the chef has had a much longer one put on and it is messy to store. I think I will hand stitch some quilting I a bit.

Went and did another "E"

I just wasn't happy with it, this one is much better

E is done,  its a bit smaller than the others though. I might have to have a do over

Improv letters so far

One more to do then I'll do some 'made' fabric to join them up. Think they have come out a little on the big side but they should be OK.

and a gathered pocket

Saw someone do this on last weeks Great British Sewing Bee and fancied a go. I'm doing a whole dress refashion that this is part of. The reveal soon hopefully. 

Bit of chain piecing

Tent bunting done

The first lot for my very good friends is done, they are away soon in their tent so got it made up asap.  It should drape over the front, though obviously they can put it wherever,  I'm going to ask for a picture!  The tent is blue. Its made from old waterproof trousers,  an umbrella, kids storage hanger,  just things I had. The tape is the only purchase,  I'm hoping the red will tatter and weather to make it look even more vintage.

That should be enough to keep me going, really happy with the colour,  great ebay buy :)
